  400 Thuner Series Comptitors Boosted by SUNORO RACE FUELS
 
 

Sunoco Race Fuels has been named the Official Fuel of the 400 Thunder Drag Racing Series. Sanctioned by IHRA Australia, the 400 Thunder Professional and Sportsman championship racers are in line for a share of the lucrative new contingency program.

This weekend’s East Coast Thunder Event, will be the first time Sydney Dragway competitors will be eligible for a share of over $50,000 on offer through the new Sunoco cash awards. These awards are available for both the Professional and Sportsman competitors throughout 2018/19 400 Thunder Australian Championship Series.

“Sunoco is recognised worldwide as a manufacturer and supplier of premium quality racing fuels and we are proud to have the brand as the Official Fuel of the 400 Thunder Series sanctioned by IHRA Australia,” IHRA Australia Managing Director Maurice Allen said.

It doesn’t end there, as eligible competitors in each of the six Professional 400 Thunder Categories will benefit from the new agreement as well, with additional contingency money on offer.

The Sportsman Classes will also be supported by Sunoco with contingency money on offer for winners and runners up who are using Sunoco Racing Fuels. In addition, each eligible 400 Thunder Australian Sportsman Championship winner will also receive a $1,000 Sunoco voucher to be redeemed at VPW.

To qualify for contingency payouts, competitors must use Sunoco Race Fuels, display the approved Sunoco Race Fuels decals on each side of their vehicles for the entire event, and provide proof of the product purchase. To register for the contingency program and receive your stickers, simply present a current proof of purchase for the fuel from any official Sunoco distributor and complete the registration form, available from the IHRA representatives at 400 Thunder events.
