General Reg 5230, Safety, Engine, Lower
Engine Containment Device
If
Supercharged, Turbocharged, or Nitrous
Oxide injected and completing the 1/4
mile in less than 9.00 seconds or the
1/8 mile in less than 5.70 seconds,
fitment of either a lower engine
containment device, belly pan or both,
which are capable of collecting oil and
debris.

aspirated and completing the 1/4 mile in
less than 8.00 seconds or the 1/8 mile
in less than 5.10 seconds, fitment of
either a lower engine containment
