								|  | IHRA Australia Update |  |

								|  |  |  |

								|  |
									Wednesday 3rd August 2022

									Good afternoon to our valued IHRA Australia
									competitor,
 Following on from yesterday’s announcement,
									we would like to offer an update on how this
									all works moving forward and what this means
									for you, the racer.

 With everything now being processed here in
									Australia, we have been able to work out a
									pricing structure that is sustainable for
									the sport to continue and grow and offer
									returns in the sport moving forward. IHRA
									Australia is committed to providing
									investment back into the sport with the
									input and dedicated knowledge and passion of
									our team in the organisation.

									As a result, the
									following Fee structure will apply
									(Australian Dollar)

											| Junior
											Dragster/ Dragbike |  | 1
											Year = $70 |
											| Sportsman / Street |  | 1
											Year = $140 |
											| Real
											Street |  | 1
											Year = $75 |
											| Sportsman Licence |  | 1
											Year = $250 |
											| Professional |  | 1
											Year = $350 |
 IHRA Australia will still offer two-and
									three-year discounted rates as per the
									brand-new online licence renewal process,
									available now for all competitors to
									conveniently use to renew their licence,
									preferably 2-3 weeks prior to expiry to
									ensure streamlined processing. This negates
									the need to handwrite applications, making
									this process more user-friendly. It can
									still be found on the IHRA Australia Website
									under Competitor Forms. https://www.ihra.com.au/competitors-forms.html

 We will also allow Sportsman medicals to be
									valid for three years until the age of 50,
									when they will be reduced to two years.
									Professional categories will continue to be
									two years. Any competitor that has supplied
									an IHRA medical after January 1, 2022 will
									be given a 12-month extension to their
									medical expiration date.

 The day-to-day running of the business will
									still operate under IHRA Australia with no
									changes being made to the name or the logo
									as we have known it over the last seven
									years. Racers will shortly be receiving
									their brand new IHRA Australia hard card as
									their new licence. You will still receive an
									emailed soft copy until your hard card
									arrives in the post, approx. 7-14 days. Kim
									Powell will still be assisting in the role
									of Admin/Licencing.

 As announced yesterday, a new downloadable
									rulebook is currently under construction and
									we hope to deliver this shortly for
									everyone’s convenience as a high priority.
									We will provide a further update asap.

 Tim Nielsen will still be handling the
									technical department and his contact details
									are available through the website.

 I will continue to act as CEO of the company
									and look forward to working with you all. If
									you feel you need to reach out, I can be
									emailed at mallen@ihra.com

 In further housekeeping, the Head Office has
									been relocated from Melbourne to Queensland
									and our new Admin/Licencing contact phone
									number is 07 5324 1360, for all enquiries
									moving forward.

								3,500 members. |  |

								|  |  |  |

								|  |
								“We’ve listened

								delivered, which represents
								a great opportunity for the sport to move ahead
								and grow even more with exciting new
								opportunities,” Allen said. |  |

								|  |  |  |

								|  |
